Sleep Therapy in Ohio (Telehealth)

Online, evidence-based help for insomnia, anywhere in Ohio

If you live outside a major city in Ohio, finding specialized help for sleep problems can feel frustrating or impossible.

Maybe there are no local providers who focus on insomnia.
Maybe you’ve been told to "try better sleep hygiene" yet again.
Maybe driving hours for appointments just isn’t realistic.

You’re not alone and help is available.

I provide sleep therapy via telehealth to adults and teens (and parents of children) anywhere in Ohio, using CBT-I, a practical, evidence-based approach that works well online and fits real life.

When sleep problems won’t resolve on their own

People seek telehealth sleep therapy across Ohio for many reasons:

  • Difficulty falling asleep despite feeling exhausted

  • Waking during the night and not being able to return to sleep

  • Anxiety or racing thoughts at bedtime

  • Sleep problems tied to stress, OCD, or rigid mental loops

  • Long-standing insomnia that hasn’t responded to supplements or apps

When sleep deteriorates, it often affects mood, focus, patience, and overall health. Many people wait far too long before getting help - assuming this is just "how things are now."

It doesn’t have to stay that way.

How online sleep therapy works

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the gold-standard treatment for chronic insomnia.

CBT-I is not medication-based and does not rely on vague advice. It’s a structured, collaborative process that helps reset the sleep system itself.

Our work may include:

  • Re-training your brain and body to associate bed with sleep again

  • Reducing nighttime anxiety and mental overactivity

  • Identifying habits that unknowingly keep insomnia alive

  • Creating a realistic sleep schedule that fits your life

  • Tracking progress so we can adjust thoughtfully

Sleep therapy translates exceptionally well to telehealth. Many clients appreciate being able to work on sleep from the environment where sleep actually happens.

Who telehealth sleep therapy is for

I work with:

  • Adults experiencing insomnia, stress-related sleep problems, or anxiety

  • Teens whose sleep has unraveled due to school pressure, anxiety, or compulsive thinking

  • Parents looking for support in helping their children fall and stay asleep

  • Clients across Ohio, including rural areas and communities without local sleep specialists

You don’t need to be in Columbus to receive high-quality, structured care.

What sessions are like

My approach is calm, direct, and practical.

I respect your time and energy. We focus on what actually improves sleep. Many clients find relief simply from having a clear framework and a plan that makes sense.

Sleep improves when the nervous system feels safer, not more pressured.

What to expect in the first session

In our first meeting, we’ll:

  • Get a clear picture of your sleep patterns and history

  • Identify what’s maintaining the problem

  • Talk through a realistic plan and implementation

Most people leave the first session feeling relieved, clearer, and more hopeful than when they arrived.

About me

I’m Brandon Morgan, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio with a background in pediatric and adult behavioral health. I trained at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center  and Nationwide Children's Hospital, and practiced clinically for seven years at Nationwide Children’s, providing clinical behavioral support to both the Sleep Clinic and Neurology Tic Clinic for several years as part of the Pediatric Psychology department. I love to leverage my experience to support families in improving quality of life.

Sleep therapy is a core part of my practice as sleep profoundly affects emotional and physical health and because evidence-based effective treatment actually exists.

Getting started

If sleep has become a nightly struggle and local options feel limited, telehealth may be a meaningful next step.

You’re welcome to reach out with questions or schedule an initial telehealth consultation.

There’s no pressure - just a conversation about whether this feels like a good fit.
